Plan Limits & Usage
The actual numeric limits on each plan — scheduled reports, automation rules, locations, API keys, and more.
StockSweep plans are flat-rate (see Plans Overview) — there is no usage-based billing. But plans do differ in numeric limits: how many scheduled reports you can save, how many automation rules you can run, how many locations you can track, and similar quotas. This article documents the real limit on every plan, in one place.

What you'll accomplish
- Know the exact numeric limit for your plan on every quota-gated feature
- Understand what happens when you reach a limit
- Know where to check your current plan's limits inside StockSweep
Limits by plan
| Limit | Free | Growth | Pro | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Email digests per month | 100 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Scheduled reports | 0 | 3 | 10 | Unlimited |
| Automation rules | 0 | 0 | 25 | Unlimited |
| Locations tracked | 1 | 1 | 1 | Unlimited |
| Competitor price sources tracked | 0 | 0 | 500 | 5,000 |
| Markets tracked | 1 | 1 | 1 | Unlimited |
| API keys | 0 | 0 | 0 | 10 |
| Webhook subscriptions | 0 | 0 | 0 | 20 |
| Recent Activity retention | 7 days | 30 days | 90 days | Unlimited |
| Data sync run history retention | 7 days | 30 days | 90 days | Unlimited |
| Manual data re-syncs per day | 0 | 2 | 20 | 200 |
A limit of 0 means the underlying capability is not available on that plan at all (for example, automation rules require Pro or above). A limit of Unlimited means there is no ceiling — use the feature as much as you need.
What happens when you reach a limit
Behavior depends on the specific limit:
- Creation limits (scheduled reports, automation rules, API keys, webhook subscriptions): you cannot create a new one past the limit. The relevant "Create" button or action is disabled with an explanation, and existing items keep working normally.
- Retention limits (Recent Activity, data sync run history): older entries roll off automatically past the retention window. Nothing is deleted early, and nothing stops working — you simply cannot look further back than your plan's window.
- Rate limits (manual re-syncs per day): the action is blocked until the daily count resets at midnight. Automatic (non-manual) syncing is unaffected.
None of these ever generate a charge. Hitting a limit means "upgrade to do more of this," not "you owe money."
Where to check your current plan
StockSweep → Plan & usage (the top-level menu item, not under Settings) shows your current plan name, monthly price, and a feature-highlight summary for that tier. It does not currently show the numeric quota table above — this article is the canonical reference for exact numbers until that changes.
Upgrading past a limit
If you hit a limit that matters to you, upgrading removes it immediately — see Plans Overview (and how to upgrade) for the upgrade flow. There's no need to contact support to raise a limit; a plan change is the mechanism.
FAQ
Do unused limits roll over (e.g., unused scheduled reports)?
No. Limits are ceilings on how many active items you can have (or how many actions you can take in a period), not a budget that accumulates. An unused scheduled-report slot this month doesn't give you extra slots next month.
Why does Free show "0" for automation rules instead of the feature being hidden?
So you can see what upgrading unlocks. The Automation section of the app is visible on every plan; the create action is gated by this limit specifically.
Is there ever a charge for going over a limit?
No. StockSweep has no usage-based billing on any plan — see Plans Overview. A limit blocks the action; it never generates a charge.
